Opportunity Alliance’s Street Outreach Program connects directly with individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness throughout Southern Indiana. Our team meets people where they are at- out on the street, in encampments, in vehicles, and other places not meant for housing- in order to build relationships and create a pathway toward stability.

Street Outreach provides housing-focused case management, Coordinated Entry connections, housing navigation, benefits assistance, help obtaining identification and documents, and connections to healthcare, behavioral health, treatment, shelter, and other community resources to improve access to housing and create long-term stability. We work alongside local shelters, first responders, healthcare providers, landlords, and community partners to address the barriers that can keep someone unhoused.

Our goal is not simply to manage homelessness. It is to help people move from the street toward safe, stable, and permanent housing.
